SPIKEFAST

SpikeFast ES-50 Sleeper Repair is a patented two part, non-foam polyurethane product that is used to fill holes in wooden sleepers. It is proven to retain screws and spikes better and longer than other traditional plugging materials.

Performance tests commissioned by US national railroads indicate that SpikeFast outperforms wood plugs, polymeric foam and epoxy foam in both lateral resistance and pullout resistance.

Apply SpikeFast in extreme weather conditions, including heavy rain, freezing temperatures and high humidity, and your result is solid sleepers that anchor as well as new sleepers. It is easy to apply, and holes are ready to use within 10 minutes.

SpikeFast ES-50 Sleeper Repair bonds so tightly to the spike hole surface that it will not dislodge during the adzing process. Unaffected by water, SpikeFast completely displaces standing water in used holes without excess foaming, and it deeply penetrates cracks, voids and crevices in the tie to reduce moisture infiltration and sleeper rot.

SpikeFast helps maintenance crews be more efficient by allowing them to re-fasten more rails in less time and providing a product that lasts longer than any alternative. SpikeFast will provide an immediate return on investment by reducing tie maintenance costs and rail down time.

FASTPATCH

FASTPATCH LV fills cracks and levels to surrounding surface. FASTPATCH LV is the perfect product for repairing small and narrow areas of damaged concrete, and it performs amazingly well in below-freezing temperatures. This quick-setting product has amazing strength and can fix cracks and spalled concrete on the spot.

WHERE TO USE FASTPATCH LV

  • Foundations - Concrete Structures
  • High Load Areas - Footings, Rail Applications
  • Anchoring - Securely Fasten Bolts or Rebar
  • Cracks and spalls - able to fill narrow cracks and shallow spalls
  • Transitions - repair between two elevations
  • Bridge decks - sealing on concrete decks and ramps
  • Damaged concrete - repair of broken concrete
  • Cold temperatures - outdoors or in freezers
  • Parking decks

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

FASTPATCH LV product is best described as a fast-setting concrete repair solution. It has ultra-low viscosity and is most often used to repair cracked or spalled concrete. FASTPATCH LV has the ability to penetrate deeply into concrete and cure at below zero temperatures, which results in superior strength. Once applied, the area can be returned to service within 15 minutes! The product is also certified as safe to use in areas where food products are handled. Customer evaluations have found that the product has excellent performance in below-freezing conditions.

  • High Compression Strength - Supports heavy loads
  • Easy-to-Use - Meter application possible
  • Fast Curing - Quick return to service
  • Excellent Adhesion - Bonds strongly to concrete
  • Low Viscosity - Flows into place easily
  • Cures at Low Temperatures - Year round use
  • FASTPATCH LV is:
  • Ultra-Low Viscosity Urethane
  • Fast setting
  • Low temperature repair
  • Superior strength
  • Low moisture sensitivity

OIL DECONTAMINATION

Enzymatic decontamination in the field has been successfully used since 1995.

One of its advantages is to reduce the cost of excavating, transporting and storing contaminated material. The rate of decontamination depends on the concentration of pollution and on the porosity and permeability of the environment. However, it is clearly weeks and maximum months where other methods require years.

In addition to Slovakia, our method has been successfully used abroad (Czech Republic, Hungary, Netherlands). In the Czech Republic, mainly track railways in some railway stations were decontaminated, in Hungary airport areas in Budapest and Debrecen, and in the Netherlands fuel filling stations.

It is necessary to plan decontamination work in the field during the year for the period of the months of April -November. In winter, temperatures drop below 7-8 °C, and at these temperatures, enzymes lose their effectiveness, which is restored only after temperatures rise. Therefore, for the winter period, we recommend carrying out decontamination work in enclosed spaces, where the heating of enzymes will also be used.

The unit financial costs of decontamination are calculated for 1 m3 of rock environment, for 1 m3 of groundwater and surface water, and for 1 m2 of areas and walls, depending on the concentration of pollution, the chemical composition of contaminants and access to the polluted environment. To confirm the quality of our method, we are ready to perform a demonstration of our method on the pollution you specify.
